Igire Foundation is a Not-For-profit Organization registered in the Netherlands with registration number; KVK 70882266 that exists to empower poor and vulnerable women living in rural communities of Rwanda.
We are a business resource hub dedicated to empowering rural women with entrepreneurship skills; build a bridge for access to finance (micro- credit), market, seeds, fertilisers and other agricultural equipment.
We support our beneficiaries to transform raw materials into competitive market ready products through capacity building, market readiness services, partnership and networking which in the end enables them to access markets, grow their revenues, build resilience and scalable business

At Igire Foundation, we believe that poverty should not determine a woman’s future. Our mission is to empower marginalized rural women and young people through entrepreneurship, skills development, mentorship, and access to opportunities that enable them to become self-reliant. We work alongside women who have ideas, determination, and ambition but often lack the resources and support needed to turn those ideas into sustainable businesses.
We help them take that next step. From small businesses to growing enterprises, we support entrepreneurs as they develop the skills, confidence, networks, and resources needed to overcome barriers and create livelihoods—not only for themselves, but for their families and communities.
Empowering rural women to become entrepreneurs through building market access, business skills development, promotion of value chain and agro-processing while leveraging on technology to improve productivity, food security and income for sustainable livelihoods.
We deliver training sessions for rural women and youth so they might understand and find their potential and the potential in others to unlock the success for which they strive.
We provide coaching for start-ups who have begun their journey, and need assistance so they might see a path to revenue, growth and scale.
We are committed to contributing to the entire entrepreneurship ecosystem in Rwanda, including providing consulting services to help growing start-ups and companies improve their strategies, processes and mindset.
